The Limeburners Café will re-open on 25th July. It will be open from 11am to 3pm Wednesdays to Sundays.

We’ve introduced new measures to help keep everybody safe and enable social distancing. You will find a one-way queueing system for placing and collecting orders. There are protective screens at the till and hand sanitiser is available. We can only accept card payments, contactless whenever possible.

We’ll be serving hot and cold drinks, freshly made sandwiches/baguettes, hot pasties and sausage rolls, cakes, scones, crisps, ice creams and confectionery. The Café is licensed and sells Hepworths beers as well as a variety of wines. Please note that all items are subject to availability.

If you have dietary requirements you may prefer to come prepared, as with a limited offer we can’t guarantee that we’d have what you need. We do, however, have a small range of gluten and dairy-free food available, and soya or oat milk for hot drinks.

For the moment we’re offering a take-away only, served in disposable tableware which wherever possible will be recyclable. You’re welcome to picnic at the Museum where it’s safe to do so and we have spaced out a number of picnic tables on the Limeburners terrace. Limited tables will be available under cover in the event of rain.

The Sweet Shop will remain closed for now, but we are hoping to re-open it, together with the Kiosk at the far end of the site soon.
